The organist was out of town and could not attend our rehearsal. So what did I do? I pulled out my iPhone and with the piano app, I was able to play the pitches of the songs on it. There is also an app called BALLS, where you move the phone around or use your fingers to make music with the balls. It takes some skill, because you can speed the balls up or slow them down and the sound is forever going. Another cool app is called the tone pad. It's divided into sections of circles and whatever you press the iPhone plays the circles on beat. So if you choose twenty circles, it plays back all twenty but in the right meter.
I love the iPhone!
